- Chef’s Cup Südtirol: The mountain is served!
- The seventh edition of the tastiest contest, held at San Cassiano in Alta Badia, has just ended.
- The event gathered together more than 55 chefs from all around the world, bringing together more than 42 Michelin stars during the entire week, with more than 100 guests and gastronomy operators.
- This edition of Chef’s Cup was dedicated to the competition: the stove’s guru faced many challenges, especially the most sportive, with determination and bravery. That’s the way Andrea Berton** faced the Gran Risa Ski Run supported by his friends, while the beautiful and damned Davide Oldani** observed the chefs competitors from the parterre. Norbert Niederkofler ** – patron of the event- won the silver medal on the podium for the exciting challenge on ice driving the aggressive Audi cars. There was also, accompanied by family and friends, Giancarlo Morelli**, who won the prize for sympathy and loyalty and Gennaro Esposito**, dressed as the perfect seaman despite the low temperature. A look of a golfer on the snow for Claudio Sadler** and Costantino Rocca engaged in a Pitch & Putt culinary contest.
The Kermesse dedicated a gala dinner to Dynamo Camp, the recreational camp for sick children wanted by Paul Newman, represented for this occasion by the Vice President Emmanuelle de Villepin, with Serena Autieri and Francesca Senette.
5 of the top 50 chefs in the world closed the 2012th edition with precious flavours and original cuisine intuitions. The kitchen of the Rosa Alpina Hotel hosted the gastronomic performance realized by 10 hands: David Scabin** (Restaurant Combal.Zero), Dieter Koschina** (Vila Joya Restaurant, Portugal), Massimo Bottura *** (La Francescana Restaurant) Sébastien Bras*** (Bras Restaurant, France) and David Higgs (Radisson Gautrain Htl / South Africa). An exclusive night signed by S.Pellegrino, that always bring together the excellences of international gastronomy.
